Fine Art America artist's watercolor of Rosa Parks riding the bus gets national attention. PJ Lewis never said much about her magazine cover story until now. However, at the time, on April 18, 2018, her local paper, Star-News in Andalusia, Al., ran the story on the front page after the town's art gallery notified them. The widely distributed 2018 U.S. travel guide to the Civil Rights Trail tributed it's cover to "Alabama artist, PJ Lewis" on the inside cover. Ms. Lewis was contacted by the publisher after they saw the painting on Fine Art America.
